How do I store the frit to maintain its quality?

To maintain the quality of the frit from the Frit Sampler Pack - 96 Coe, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Make sure to keep the lids tightly sealed to prevent moisture contamination, which can alter the frit’s characteristics. Artists often appreciate the convenience of using microwave kilns for smaller projects due to the quick heating capabilities. Proper temperature settings and kiln projects should be verified for successful outcomes.

What is the recommended firing schedule for this frit?

The recommended firing schedule for the frit in the Frit Sampler Pack - 96 Coe depends on the desired effect. As a general guideline, a typical firing program includes initial heat-up at around 300°F to 400°F per hour, and hold at a peak temperature of about 1400°F to 1500°F for fusing.
