Teansic offers a USB 3.1 female plug socket connector with PCB board 24 pin DIY data line interface female socket, but the product has a lot of drawbacks. Customers have reported missing pull-down resistors and CC1 and CC2 ports being connected together, resulting in the port not working out of the box. Even adding the resistor won't fix the issue, and unsoldering the pins doesn't help. The product will only work for A to C but not for C to C, limiting the user's options. Moreover, the images provided do not match the delivered items, which creates a lot of confusion during unpacking. These boards also do not meet USB specifications, meaning they cannot be used with a cable that has USB on both ends. A separate resistor for each of the two CC pins is required for USB C, but this board connects both CC pins to the same resistor. Although the board will work with an A-to-C cable since USB A chargers only provide one voltage, it will limit compatibility over time.
