The removable skeg is a necessary feature for still water paddling and the kayak tracks well with it on. The kayak is easy to inflate with the hand pump that includes a pressure gauge attachment, and the package includes everything you need, including paddles and a repair kit. However, the kayak is a little sluggish when paddling solo and the drain holes being only on the sides can be inconvenient when draining out water at the end of a trip. Additionally, there are no D-rings at the bow or stern for tying up the kayak. The Sea Eagle Inflatable Kayak is a great purchase for the price and is a solid investment for those looking for a durable and versatile kayak option.
