Davis Instruments Weather Stations Editorial Review
Davis Instruments 6510SER Software w/ Data Logging for Vantage Pro 2, Serial offers solar-powered operation and advanced sensor technology, providing reliable temperature accuracy within a degree Celsius. Users have noted its effective communication with weather stations, reporting smooth uploads to platforms like Weather Underground, although some mention issues with data buffering. It's particularly praised by those transitioning from USB to serial connections, highlighting improved performance without communication hangs. However, some users wish for a standalone serial adapter option, finding the existing package excessive for their needs. Despite its dated software design, it remains functional for logging weather data effectively.
