The Coleman lantern is a powerful and versatile lighting option that provides bright illumination. The highlight of this lantern is the ability to separate it into a set of four individual lights, offering flexibility in use. The brightness of the lantern is commendable and the detachable LED lights provide various lighting options. One customer was particularly impressed with the brightness and the versatility of the lantern, especially with the option to detach the LED lights and use them separately. Another customer took the initiative to upgrade the lantern with rechargeable batteries and a charging port, making it a proper rechargeable lantern. However, there were some drawbacks mentioned by customers. One customer was disappointed to find out that the USB connection was meant for attaching a cell phone and not for recharging the lantern. Recharging the lantern requires physically removing the rechargeable batteries from the detachable light panels and using a separate battery recharging system, which some found inconvenient and archaic in today's age. Another complaint was the use of alkaline batteries instead of rechargeable ones. Some customers felt that in the year 2020, it should be a standard feature for a lantern to be rechargeable.
