The Astro Pneumatic Tool 5820 Front-Wheel Drive Engine Support Arm Stand is a versatile engine support tool that allows for easy maintenance on a variety of vehicles. It has a universal fit and can be adjusted to fit the width of the engine compartment. The transverse bar is adjustable from 32.5 inches to approximately 65 inches, while the longitudinal bar is 36 inches long, with holes spaced about 1 inch apart throughout its length, and can be entirely removed if necessary. The third leg has a series of holes on it to adjust its height that helps to steady the engine, while the support bar can be moved from side to side and can be adjusted in height at the radiator support end. The left side of the arm will slide left and right, but the right side has a tube welded into one fixed position. However, the tool is not designed to raise the engine. Customers have highly recommended the product, but advise using chains to support the engine as the cables provided may be insufficient.
